Seriously Demented

My mother is really going downhill in a hurry. She was having a dementia flip-out yesterday while I was visiting, so I administered the first of the anti-psychotics she'd just been prescribed. Man, those fuckers hit like a Panzer division rolling into Poland at dawn. I guess completely out of it beats the hell out of completely out of it and agitated, too.

I'll go with the bullet, please.

A book? Me?

Yeah, I'm doing a book: for Amnesty International. It will feature photos (and stories) of all the women who spoke or performed at Voices of Celebration, which commemorated the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day.

Here's Renée Black, ex-United Nations UNIFEM worker, and entrepreneur who is currently working to develop a programme to match volunteer tech workers with projects in developing countries. She's fun to talk with and easy to shoot.
