Saw this guy, Paul Campbell, walking down Jubilee, and spoke to him outside the QEII. He's got quite a story, and it's pretty bad for Capital District Health if true. You can reach him at pgc1959@hotmail.com.

I went to Montréal ...
... and all I got was one shot better than anything just about every photog on the planet will ever get.

I've fucking said this before ...
... I need an agent. If someone doesn't get me out there, Leibovitz is going to keep getting paid, and that does no good for anyone.

Remembrance
In 2003 I did a series of portraits of veterans, all members of the Vimy Branch of the Legion. The series hung at Pier 21 for awhile: I got on TV, but didn't get rich or famous (per usual). Still important, though.
"I had the time of my life on those motorcycles! If they were shootin' at me, I didn't know, 'cause they never got me!"

"And then I saw 'Canada' on the shoulder patches of the bodies floating as I swam: that's when it hit me."

"We did it because it had to be done."

"Every time I smell diesel I see the tanks running over those guys."

"I was a conscientious objector, you know, so I carried stretchers."
